Aquinas College Representatives Welcomed to St Mary's Cathedral

The tour afforded His Grace and Monsignor Keating the opportunity to acknowledge the support of Aquinas College and the many Aquinian Old Boys who had contributed to our fundraising appeal.

Guests Included: Pictured L-R

  • Mr Mr Peter Robertson (Dean of Development),
  • Mr Graham Georke (Aquinas Old Boy; Member, Cathedral Appeal Committee),
  • His Grace, Archbishop Barry Hickey,
  • Mr Peter Prendiville (Aquinas Old Boy and generous contributor),
  • Mr Mark Sawle (Headmaster, Aquinas College),
  • Rev Monsignor Michael Keating, Dean, St Mary’s Cathedral,
  • Mrs Maureen Colgan, Deputy Chair, Cathedral Appeal,
  • Mr Steven Males (Dean, Aquinas Junior School),
  • Mr Clive Macknay (Aquinas Old Boy; past Member Aquinas Board)

Following the tour, a delicious morning tea was served in the new Cathedral Parish Centre. It was a great morning, and based on the reactions of those present, one thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Editor’s Note:
We hope that “the mighty red and black” community will continue to support our Cathedral fundraising efforts throughout 2010 and beyond, as we strive to raise the remaining $3.5 million required.

PSSSST.... Mr Stephen Court (Aquinas Old Boy, Member Cathedral Project Committee, Member Archdiocesan Finance Committee) was overseas and unable to join his “Aquinian Brothers” for the tour on the 23rd.... here’s one we prepared earlier.
